Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a growing food manufacturing organization as a key member of the executive leadership team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will provide strategic financial leadership while partnering across the business to support continued growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
This executive will oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis FP&A), treasury, tax, risk management, and information systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing finance expertise and a proven ability to influence business strategy, improve profitability, and support expansion initiatives
.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a strategic advisor and business partner to the CEO and executive leadership team.
- Develop and execute long-term financial strategies that support organizational growth and profitability.
- Present financial performance, strategic recommendations, and capital allocation strategies to executive leadership and ownership.
- Evaluate acquisitions, strategic partnerships, new business opportunities, and other growth initiatives.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis by customer, product line, manufacturing facility, and sales channel.
- Drive initiatives that improve margins, reduce operating costs, and increase overall efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Oversee accounting, treasury, tax strategy, banking relationships, insurance programs, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and outside advisors.
- Lead cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital management.
- Support debt management, capital investment planning, and financing strategies.
- Partner with operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial leadership to improve business performance through financial insights.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of executive-level finance leadership experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, or equivalent.
- Significant finance leadership experience within food manufacturing is required.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, treasury, FP&A, and strategic financial planni
- ng.Demonstrated success supporting high-growth organizations.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and corporate governance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or other advanced financial credentials.
- Experience supporting capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, or strategic growth initiatives.
- Background leading finance organizations in consumer packaged goods (CPG), fresh foods, refrigerated foods, produce, or related manufacturing environments.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary: $165,000–$175,000
